An Embarrassing FAIL

It's true.  I had a craft go horribly wrong.  I tried to make these adorable little Easter eggs.  Aren't they cute?  Well, I guess I should have followed the exact directions because the changes I made didn't work out so well....

Obviously.

I started off just as the directions said, by making a liquid starch and flour mixture.

I blew up some balloons, and was anxious to get started.

I chose a thicker yarn, which was the root of the problem.  It soaked up way too much of the mixture, not allowing it to dry fast enough.

Oh well, we can only learn from our mistakes, right?  I'm off to clean up my mess...
